Hey guys,

Just a quick one from me today – thanks for all your questions and comments about our products and latest announcements, it’s great to be able to talk with you guys rather than just to you… so keep ‘em coming!

For those of you who might have an urgent or specific question around a product you own, I just wanted to flag our support community – talk.sonymobile. It does exactly what it says on the tin; expert Sony representatives and other Xperia users actively discussing issues, questions or any concerns you might have. They’re also tweeting here.

It’s only takes a minute to sign-up and once done, you can perform specific query searches, take part in polls, start a discussion or join one of our established communities – Xperia 2010, 2011 or 2012 family, Smart Extras, Software Downloads and Common Questions…

        i am asking about video call, not video chatting using Skype / Gtalk. In other phones there is an option to make video calls through their network operator but in Xperia S i couldn’t find that option.

        From my samsung galaxy ace to this xperia s, dont get me wrong its a nice fone but theres no micro sd to make life easier on the go and requires micro sim so that was another runaround and it toped it wen i opend the box and it came with the shity old android instead of ice cream sandy lol witch here in australia i was looking forward to

    Could anyone tell me when the new Xperia S is getting launched in India??? It’s already arrived in many countries in Asia. Its been 3 weeks since Sony released it in MWC 2012. Too hard to wait for it.

      Hey Ragavendra,

      You won’t have to wait too much longer… Xperia S is shipping globally as I type, so it should be with you within the next few weeks. Please check with your local operators for their exact dates :)

    Hi, I recently purchased a blue Neo V and I absolutely love it. Just a quick question: Since the cover has a tendency to be easily scratched or easily broken (though mine is still intact), may I know if Sony Mobile sells replacement back covers? Thanks.

      Hi… They are both 2011 but they were not made and released at the same time. For sony to release an upgrade, a lot of parameters must be considered. The parc s got advanced features than the arc, so it wil easily be able to handle the ICS, compared to the arc.

    is there any messaging applications in sony pc companion if its not there can u please make applictaion so that i cud c my msg on my laptop n reply as previous versions of sony ericsson does n ya make aplications to view contacts hope sony makes aplications for messaging n contacts in sony pc companion soon……………….. for experia series

    I have lost my contacts in my Xperia Active phone. I tried to import from SIM and SD memory it shows importing but when I go to contacts list is empty. I have done factory reset wthout loosing dat but problem still exists. When I get a call or sms the names do appear which means I have the data only phone no importing into contacts. Please tel me how to solve this Issue.

    - Professional grade Voice Operated Recorder feature, available in MP3/Wav format
    - Fast charge ability
    - Metallic unibody
    - replaceable battery, for outdoor without charging points.
    - Night vision camera
    - Develope Vita OS into mobile phone OS, tablet OS, console OS, laptop, desktop OS, encourage profit sharing with apps developer.

      Hi Guys I am Kapil I bought a Sony Xperia Acro S mobile phone, and its specification show that it supports flash but now adobe flash palyer is not supporting android 4.0 or higher so m unable to stream live streaming or videos which need flash player to be streamed online so what should i do now to watch the live streaming is there any other flash player which i can use plz rply me ASAP.

    Plz any one here tell me what should i do when adobe flash palyer has removed itself from play store in android. so how m going to view the flash video files on web without it. Sony must stop writing in phones with android 4.0 or higher that it supports flash.

    Hi, I have felt bad after knowing that
    1. “I can’t make video calls using 3G/4G” using this Sony Xperia S.
    2. There is NO removable type battery.
    3. Limited formats of video files supported.
    4. Connectivity to computer – I find the problem.
