Statement on hoax competitions and unsolicited communications using the Sony Mobile name
Sony Mobile is aware of a series of unsolicited communications including emails and SMS messages sent to individuals claiming they have won a competition or prize through a Sony Mobile competition.
These unsolicited communications are not from Sony Mobile Communications and are believed to be attempts to obtain personal data for fraudulent purposes.
