The app works swiftly to identify the song; whether you’re in a bar with friends or just can’t remember the name of one of your favourite tunes. You can then view the music video on YouTube or download the track right to your phone. Sharing tracks is simple too, just click ‘share’ to post on Facebook, and let your friends listen/like/comment or maybe even disapprove…

Wave your magic wand (otherwise known as your Xperia smartphone!) and watch this instant app transform the space around you to create truly iconic images. Turn your surroundings into a vintage masterpiece with an elegant noir effect, or step into a comic book world with sketch and cartoon filters you can share with your friends. You can also apply the renders to existing pictures to give them a personality and style all of your own making.

Skitch

This is one for those who got into trouble for doodling in class (guilty). You can “draw attention” by annotating and editing pictures and then share the creations/mutations with friends! Because the app is from the brains behind Evernote, the two integrate seamlessly – perfect for syncing and accessing annotated snapshots from meetings, conferences and lectures.
