Nice additions! I’m just wondering two things, when will the ICS update for Xperia S arrive, and when will the Smart Wireless Headset pro be avaliable?

Hey Peter – thanks for stopping by!
Firstly, to cover off Smart Wireless Headset pro – where are you based?
All I can say on ICS and Xperia S is that it’s coming very, very soon, so keep your eyes fixed firmly on the blog

I will not buy another sony product again. I have spent thousands on your products because they are high quality and long lasting, the off chance I have an issue I just call your customer support, have a great experince and your company takes care if my issues. So when I bought my play I expected sony to live up to the promise I would get ics. It was the biggest selling point to me. So when I spoke to your customer service reps about this issue I was treated poorly and was told sony is not doing anything for the customers that were scammed out of their hard earned money. Now I’m locked into a contract with an outdated piece of hardware which I cannot unlock to even put ics on it unofficially because sony has yet to do a single thing for cdma play owners. If I sold something with a promised feature that wasn’t there, I would be sued. This is not going to go quietly sony. Your customers are furious and no play owner will ever buy another sony device again.

Does that mean the Xperia Arc will also get this update “very, very” soon?

Hey Peter – thanks for your comment,
Yep, rollout for Xperia Arc is well underway, so you should be able to access the update soon – please keep checking http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38387, as you’ll be able to see when your specific software kit is available.
Hope that helps?

Dear Anthony,
Firstly I would like to say that Sony is praised in my country as the best choice for Android Smartphone. Websites like techtudo , info and forums says that the Sony effort to upgrade the Xperia 2011 line was amazing and granted many followers and fans. Here in Brazil, Sony is a consensus that is the best choice for android phone. As an Xperia Neo Owner I am very glad with my ICS. My sister that has a Galaxy S and Iphone 3GS has choosed Sony Xperia as her next phone. Peharps she will find some great in this new ones.
Thanks for everything.
Love Sony.

Sorry guys but I really don’t get the marketing strategy from Sony, by releasing a bunch of smathphones in one year. As far as I know there are for this year at least 5 phones releases and to be released. Why don’t you guys concentrate on 1 or 3 products first? The Xperia S ist out since a couple of months and since then 5 other Xperia models were announced (?!?!) Maybe that’s why the Xperia S had some serious problems regarding the display quality (yellow tint). I bought one and had this terrible problem. The device was fixed by the Sony Support but it took weeks since the parts were not available and it sure costed Sony a lot fo money.

so PLS do IT
else you will lose out on delays -

hello anthony,
before, I really appreciate the update Android 4.0 on Sony Ericsson Live, it does not even make my phone feel sluggish at all. even much better than gingerbread.
but can you tell the software developer sony video recorder so that was rough and not smooth as in gingerbread. I guess my problem is not just because my friend also had the same problem. Hopefully Sony’s more victorious.Riki,
im sory for my english -

Hey Riki – thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment,
Glad to hear the software’s running smoothly.
Thanks for your feedback – I’ll pass it onto my colleagues
