Box clever with Xperia™’s lifetime offer!
Hey guys,
I just wanted to remind you about our free 50GB cloud storage offer with Box – because if your Summer’s anything like mine, you’ll be getting trigger-happy with your smartphone camera, blasting out your tunes, enjoying time with friends and family… and then wanting to relive and share these good times in the slightly less exciting months…
We announced our Box partnership just before the festive season last year and the offer wasn’t just for Christmas; it’s for life.
If you have an Xperia smartphone including and released after Xperia X10*, simply sign-up or access Box from your Xperia smartphone** before December 31st 2012 to grab your 50GB file storage and sharing – free, for life!
Some of my favourite Box features are:
- The ability to view, edit and share content on-the-go with just a few taps
- Quickly and easily locate files with built-in search
- Local file saving for offline access
- Easily to upload and access video, music, images, documents (you name it!) across devices such as PC, tablet or smartphone
- Neat security features, with 4-digit passcode protection, should your smartphone ever fall into the wrong hands
So, what’s everyone’s getting up to over the Summer months that a Box membership could help out with?
*Due to limitations, Box is not available for Xperia X10 mini and X10 mini pro, and devices with Android versions prior to 2.1
**Only available in markets with access to Google play

Hello everyone,
We’re sorry that a few of you are experiencing problems accessing the full 50GB.
Simon from Box has kindly detailed the necessary steps above to fix the issue – to reiterate; “try logging into the Box application again and hopefully you should see the upgrade! If you don’t see it, go to Menu > Settings and use the option to send an email to our support team. The email will contain helpful information to diagnose the problem.”
Let us know how you get on!
Ant.

Hi folks, product manager at Box here. We sincerely apologize about the large number of accounts that didn’t see the 50GB upgrade. We’ve changed some configurations on our backend and think this should fix the problem.
Please try logging into the Box application again and hopefully you should see the upgrade! If you don’t see it, go to Menu > Settings and use the option to send an email to our support team. The email will contain helpful information to diagnose the problem. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
Enjoy your 50 GB of free storage!

I have purchased SONY Xperia S model on 13.9.12. The experience there after is very very disgusting and unexpected. The mother board is not working and the handset is given for repairs in just not more than a month of I using this handset. The so called Service Centre in Pune is not at all equipped to handle the unending and ever increasing complaints nor has any decency to talk to the customers.
The service centre no. 180030002800 is not in a position to provide me the Head Office address based where ever in India for me to send a notice to proceed to the Court of Law (Consumer Redressal Forum) The person available on the help line (Mr. Rishi) is not in a position to provide the status of the handset repairs work nor in a position to tell me further line of action. This is in the interest at large for all those who invest in a very well advertised brand called SONY which later does not do any thing for the customer. Please please before buying the handset from SONY please go to the Service centre and find out whether this handset is coming for repairs or not. The day I went to hand it over for repairs, 7 similar handsets had come and the service centre trying to fool the customer by not attending them. Please please be very very careful and think million times before any one buys any SONY product.

8888060606I am initiating stern legal action against SONY for the refund of the hard earned money . Its not worth buying SONY mobiles. A very sad and painful experience.

how can i download the box?
-
-
By Beni Inanma
There is 2 ways to download it
1) if you have a google account, and your google play is active in your country then
Open the link below and press the blue “install” button on the left side :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.box.android&feature=search_result
2) If you cannot download it from Google Play.
Especially if Google Play is not accessible through your country.
Then you can download it from 1mobile Market from the link below by pressing the “install” button :
http://www.1mobile.com/box-99512.htmlHowever the good thing is that you can still download the app and have the 50 GB of the BOX Cloud for your Xperia phone, because Sony has extended their partnership with BOX Cloud as you can see at the below link :
http://blogs.sonymobile.com/2012/12/07/xperia-and-box-renew-partnership-through-2013/
Also If you want to know how to activate it after downloading it see the link below :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf_8Z2dgJkg( IF your country isn’t supported by Google, then you may have to put your phone in the airplane mode through the registration process )
If the 50 GB Storage didn’t work out after you sign in then see the link below :
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/43367?start=0&tstart=0I had the same problem so I searched the web then I found all the above.
I hope you enjoy the 50 GB for your BOX
