Behind-the-scenes: our Sony SmartWatch project with the London College of Fashion
Hello everyone,
Today we’re excited to take you behind the curtain of our SmartWatch project with the London College of Fashion!
To prove that technology and the SmartWatch can be fashion friendly, we pitted students with the task of designing a fashion-forward wrist strap that is both functional and makes an eye-catching statement.
The winners were picked jointly by you guys on Facebook and the design team behind SmartWatch – Claire Monique Scanlon created a jacket and wrist strap for fashion bloggers, allowing them to access news feeds and read Twitter updates from live fashion events. Dominique Taylor created a stylish dress and jewellery accessory which could be used as a necklace or bracelet for club-goers, allowing them to quickly take images and Like on Facebook with friends during that big night out.
In the videos above, both Clare and Dominique share the design process, how they presented their concepts to the Sony SmartWatch team in Sweden and what makes their creative brains tick!
It’d be great to get your thoughts on the designs in the comments below

Deat Anthony,
Here I am. I would like to know after the recently facts that I heard from Sony UK that the Xperias 2011 won’t receive Jelly Bean. After they said it was a mistake did by John answer that specific question. We like a sony customers would like to have an official statement from the company. This is very important for us, because all these stories started to damage the company view. Then, I ask, will we have the JB for our phones or not? Because many of us remember that if nexus S with the same hardware got the Jelly bean in their phones, then we have some hope. So we just end this afliction , waiting for news. Please.

Dear Anthony,
We are anxious, as sony lovers, to an official statement about the Jelly Bean in 2011 xperia. After the recently news, after the facebook sony uk profile said that xperia arc, arc s and etc. will not receive jelly bean, we as sony customers want to put an end in this dramatic thoughts. Will Sony keep the amazing policy upgrading all the phones or not? We know that google nexus S has the same hardware of our mobiles and got the jelly bean, then we need an answer. Please. -
