Stay connected with Smart Accessories
Back in March, we introduced you to Smart Accessories at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Smart Wireless Headset Pro and SmartTags appeared on stand for booth-goers to try out, and we brought you guys in on the action with a quick video demo on getting to grips with the basics on the two accessories.
Well, we have two new videos that take a closer look at our handy little gadgets, demonstrating how to use them in day-to-day life to stay connected and make the most of cutting-edge tech inside your Xperia smartphone!

Smart Wireless Headset Pro provides crystal clear sound and a removable micro SD card. It makes for the perfect companion when talking calls, and even holds its own when away from your smartphone… why not leave your phone in your bag and hit the gym with a workout playlist?!
Plus, the Android technology inside means you can download apps, allowing you to make calls directly from your headset, get Twitter and Facebook notifications, read texts or emails, along a whole range of other practical and helpful functionality!

Xperia SmartTags make the most of NFC technology inside your smartphone. Use your SmartTags to revolutionise the way you use your phone by simply touching it against the tag and personalise the settings and apps. I use my red ‘home’ SmartTag as soon as I get through the door; it turns off my GPS, switches on my Wi-Fi and launches my Facebook newsfeed so I can check up on what my friends are doing.
With three tags available, you can set them up and activate them wherever and whenever want, to make sure the right apps and settings are open when you need them. Heading into the office? Tap against a SmartTag to start up emails, turn off silent mode and turn on Bluetooth – to connect to your Smart Wireless Headset Pro!
Have you tried out any of the Smart Accessories range yet? We’d love to hear how you’re staying connected! Let us know below

Greetings,
I’ll try to be as clear as possible. I’ve always used phones from Sony. I Have XPERIA S, and before that had the XPERIA10 and so on, since the P910.
I am using a SanDisk memory of 32GB Class 4.
This can not be a problem of memory.
NOTE: Just mention that I read all POSTS and updated the FIRMWARE. I also used the UPDATE SERVICE.
How is it possible to release an update (at least one serius company would not do it), without a a reference version, etc …?
Problems:
1. After solved most by updating the firmware, the device start recognizes the memory.
2. By trial and error, I checked if I load music tracks (either via Media Go or by the process using the adapter from Sony), if I outrank a number of songs tracks (more less more than 4.68Gb = “755″ songs), the MW device stops reading and keeps – please wait/memory full – forever!
3. If I go back to and remove the songs within a certain number tracks – +/- 4.68GB totaling a +/- 755 tracks – , the device MW back to reading.
4. This whole process which should be transparent it is a nightmare!
5. I have not even tried the rest (I know that makes pairing) because my expectations are frustrated!
Finally some questions:
Does the test group of SONY passes these problems (yes, because this is not a bug, is a serious defect!) without being detected?
Does any seriously company sends to market a product that has never been tested? Yes, because if it had we would not now discussing these things.
To finish:
A customer like me who always bought from SONY VAYO’s , Sony TV’s, Cell Phones from Sony, I’ll stop doing it.
I do not tolorate someone send to market something that does not meet the anounced specifications without being tested, deceiving people! That’s all folks!

Do not buy! Do not buy! DO NOT work and you will not have any support from Sony that remains in silence as if it were nothing to them! So far I’m waiting to ask me “WE SORRY” or give me hope for when they solve problems. Visit the Forum: http://talk.sonymobile.com/community/support/accessories?view=discussions

Hi why on earth do you keep pumping these accesories, your phones do not work, your updates are hopeless, why dont you sort the hardware out first, why will no one comment on the ICS update farce…
-
Greetings to all,
They will not reply!
As always not a single sketch of repentance, not a single excuse …. We bought an item that does not work, and it was not cheap, and not even an official apology!
To me said that no solution for now, but did not say that they will give back some of the money …
nothing!
Accepted bets that this company has its days numbered?! SONY ****!
I will spread everywhere this experience! How can a company as big not have engineers that solve this problem? Make the recovery of all devices!
No I’ll never shut up!
Rgds

Dear Clare,
Here I am. I would like to know after the recently facts that I heard from Sony UK that the Xperias 2011 won’t receive Jelly Bean. After they said it was a mistake did by John answer that specific question. We like a sony customers would like to have an official statement from the company. This is very important for us, because all these stories started to damage the company view. Then, I ask, will we have the JB for our phones or not? Because many of us remember that if nexus S with the same hardware got the Jelly bean in their phones, then we have some hope. So we just end this afliction , waiting for news. Please. -
