Getting up close and personal with Xperia T, Xperia V, Xperia J and Xperia Tablet S
Hello everyone -
We wanted to give you guys a closer look at the Xperia family’s newest additions…
Despite being spoilt for choice, I’ve been tasked with the tough job of picking out a favourite key feature from each – here goes!
Xperia T
A tough one*, but my Xperia T pick has to be Xperia TV Dock with MHL to HDMI converter, that not only provides juice, but let’s you enjoy photos and videos on a HDMI TV!
*I did want to mention the little fact that it will be 007′s smartphone of choice in latest mission Skyfall – but, that seemed like cheating
Xperia V
I’m going with Xperia V’s levels of dust and water resistance; the highest of ANY smartphone (IP55/57+ to be precise). You can expect protection from the effects of 1m immersion for 30 minutes, and wet-finger tracking… perfect if you’re beaching in Sunny climates, or dashing in the rain…
Xperia J
A standout feature that lets YOU stand out – one for the social butterflies; Xperia J brings every tweet, comment and like to life with vivid colour illuminations!
Xperia Tablet S
It has to be Xperia Tablet S’ aesthetics – an easy-on-the-eye sleek aluminium body (also with splash-proof features) that encases the beautiful 9.4″ HD display… so, really not just a pretty face
You can find a full spec rundown here on all of the above – like what you see? What features are you looking forward to?

You would think James Bond would opt for the Xperia V, see as how it’s water and dust resistant and you know how he can operate…
But I like the Xperia T/TX, too. I hope a US version would be available real soon. btw, is it 3G/4G capable on the T-Mobile USA network?
fyi. I don’t mind buying a Unlocked phone, I just need it to work on T-Mobile USA network.please reply.

Is sony xperia S being taken out of the market and being replaced xperia ion because i never see any advertisement about S but only about ION well then its a shame i bought this mobile recently and no one even heard about it. Well its a great phone. I feel i wasted my money with sony .
You bring out a product and then you try to replace it .Now people will say i bought a outdated flop mobile.
That SUCKS -

Is there any real difference between the Xperia T and TX, or is it a regional marketing thing? I’m looking forward to more solid info (release dates, pricing, specs) on these models, definitely something I’m keen on.

Does the Xperia V really have wet-finger tracking? The official specifications do not indicate this to be the case – it only has the IP55/IP57 water/dust resistance but wet-finger tracking is a completely separate feature that most water-resistant phones do not actually have. Can you confirm whether wet-finger tracking is included in Xperia V or not?
