Bond takes on Sony…

Guys,

As you might be aware, James Bond’s latest outing Skyfall premiered last week in London and is now hitting screens across the globe.

Also entering the field is our global “Intelligence Gathered” advertising campaign – it’s an integrated offering across TV, cinema and print that’ll be supported by on and offline activity on our sites around the world including Facebook and Twitter as well as local retail.

In the ad, you’ll see 007 trying to outsmart Sony tech – his movements are tracked on BRAVIA screens, VAIO laptops, Xperia Tablets and on the Xperia T smartphone by a mystery woman trying to gather info and intel.

Who came up trumps? Check out the video above to find out!

I heard Bond is getting a Samsung or a HTC next, as he is annoyed he has to wait until 2013 for Jellybean, and all his nemesis has already has theirs.

The Sony Xperia stuff Q hands out is old-hat.

Security Breach! Easy for James Bond because she is using Sony.. Advice: Try other brands, it might be harder for James to breach your security. SONY lack of product support and upgrade.. No JB for Sola and Xperia U?

You are right ! Also no 4G LTE so the delay sneeks all other device sneeks IN ( the hands of sony mobile user ) Make a note sony, your James bond product will end in desaster, atleast retain existing customers with proper improved latest software.

Torn between selling my Xperia S and buying a Nexus 4. Fed up with Sony’s painfully slow update cycles.

If Sony want to increase their marketshare, they are going the wrong way about it. Right now I should be looking at buying another Xperia (a T or a V) and not a Nexus device.

    What went wrong?

Well slow update cycles, buggy firmware (bravia engine, autofocus bugs, camera quicklaunch bugs, slow response to fixing them). A premium priced phone with lousy support.

I am big fan of Sony but father Christmas is going to get here faster than the Xperia T in my country. It’s the phone i have been waiting for for too long. Sony, you really need to kill the competition to get ahead and keep us faithful customers. After seeing the HTC J, I rather wait longer to get the ultimate phone and not one that just looks good in a movie. Odin leaks look promising but how long is the question……in my opinion another year before I get that in South Africa. Take note that here you have someone who will buy Sony products, but they never get here and the competition is long gone by the time Sony does arrive. Please up your game…..just a word of advice.

In Movies world Xperia’s are the best intelligent smartphones ever.

In the world of Movies: Xperia is the most intelligent smartphone ever which is being used by the best agents.
In the real world : Xperia is struggling to make an update :-) , and if they do one they do it will came late, not to all their phones, and probably full of bugs ICS ( that is what I heard ).
In Disneyland : Xperia is just a normal phone likee all others.
In Geeks world : Xperia is the antique smartphone uses old softwares.
In bloggers world : Sony ditching people and not answering their questions ( I asked a question 3 times before and no answer ).
In Companies world : Sony is loosing.
In losers world : Hey Xperia Welcome aboard.
In Sony’s mind : It most win by pretend to care.
In Google’s world : No way a Nexus come from Sony.
