A closer look at Xperia™ E…

As you might’ve seen earlier, today we announced Xperia E and Xperia Edual, a compact Android smartphone designed to make life that little bit easier.

So, here’s a quick rundown on some of the key features –

HD Voice

Xperia E features HD Voice with noise cancellation – phone calls have never been clearer, meaning you can be heard whatever the weather…

Effortless cost control

Easily stay on top of your data and power consumption; our data usage app lets you monitor the megabits and extended standby mode increases standby time by up to 4 times.

Superior Sony sounds

Xperia E comes with signature Sony audio tech – our ”WALKMAN®” application includes xLOUD™ audio technology, 3D surround sound and a manual equalizer. That’s not to mention the millions of tunes accessible via Music Unlimited in Sony Entertainment Network.

Xperia Edual

Xperia Edual has dual SIM functionality – you can switch between two SIMs with a single touch or make the switch happen automatically by setting the phone to use a specific SIM card at a specific time of day. Each SIM card can also be customised separately – for example, a formal ring during office hours and another tune for non-office hours… perfect when you want to separate work from play, and handle calls more efficiently :)

For more information, check out our official press release.

Great, Xperia E will come with 4.1 Jelly bean, but more powerful handsets with Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset from 2011 won’t have Jelly Bean update!! This is just great Sony..

Instead of releasing more and more devices, could you please, PLEASE solve all the bugs in Android 4.0 for 2011 devices!?

PS: Nice to see that the Xperia E will get 4.1 JB but 2011 devices, with same or even better spec, won’t…

maybe the problem to xperia 2011 model is they are all have 1GB internal memory that’s why they wont upgrade it to jelly bean..sad to say my NEO L also have only 1GB of internal memory..too bad my NEO L will not experience having jelly bean OS..

I had the most amazing conversion with a Sony Customer Service Rep in India…they are nothing but a bunch of hooligans….you people are crazy…one Sony is completely incapable of supporting there products after sales….oh yeah! turn around time doesnt mean anything to Sony….third the easiest thing to do is to make a promise and then forget about it completely…..after all this they’ll still have the audacity to give me the same rebuttal we trying our best….. and your phone will be fixed…Yeah Make.Believe

New model coming already but when can I get Xperia TX in my country Malaysia?? Sony always release new models but never deliver it fast like other brand…I’m tired of waiting for new models to come out to my country…Sony clearly disappoints me..

Not joking, I understand that there are people who are simply satisfied with low end phone and its features. They only need good quality during calls.

The only thing I am thinking about is please Sony do not create 20 low end phones during 2013…
