Xperia Z – media & blogger first impressions @ Sony booth

Right after Monday’s press conference, we caught up with some of our media and blogger friends at the Sony booth, who gave us their first hands-on impressions of our new Android smartphone, Xperia Z.

    Don’t buy Sony!!! You will get the same fate as me….They don’t give jelly bean upgrade for xperia Sola & U. I just bought sola for 7 months and its spec is capable for JB. And Sony is well known for delaying the upgrade!!!!!

    So bad it won’t receive android 5.0……due to Sony’s priority to deliver the best possible smartphone experience… :) Priority would be to release newer xperia fhsf, sdwq, and to forget about old and sluggish xperia z and zl, erm.. just forgot… and to release crappy slow firmware with camera bug just before leaving this phone without newer os :) I clearly can see that day, I been playing this game with my 2010, 2011 ans 2012 devices. As to new buyers i can say: Welcome to the club of masochists :) )))

      That is all true. Sony makes very nice looking smartphones but their software support is terrible. As much as I like the looks of Xperia Z, I am not going to buy it under any circumstances after getting “the best possible smartphone experience” with my Xperia S. I will wait for some other brand to launch the similar device for my next phone.

    Gonna get mine as soon as it’s released. Hopefully, Sony learned something from the Nexus 4 debacle and will allow pre orders so they can anticipate demand. Quit teasing get us Sony and give us the USA release date!

    It does not make any sense! Any sense at all. Sony issue of Xperia Z its like in F1 Ferrari would give a good car to a driver but pit stop crew and technical support would be these guys from “the garage down the street”. Xperia Z not gonna win not gonna run smoothly. No chance.

    I really would like to have the xperia z, live in Brazil, but this smartphone will not come to my country, I’m really disappointed with sony not think we would have a good market for it. I feel really frustrated with the neglect of sony regarding Brazil.

      ola brasil como vai tudo por ai. we have the same problem here in canada, i would love to be able to pick up a sony exp. z as well but for some reason we have been left on the back burner, as though we have to settle for something more inferior like the not as good zl version, i really hope sony puts up or shuts up, not fair for us really devoted good quality seeking sony buyers.
