Olympic champions use Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z for one-off routine

On Tuesday evening we attended a pretty special press event at the W Hotel in Barcelona that saw Spanish Olympic silver-medal-winning synchronised swimmers, Andrea Fuentes and Ona Carbonell use a certain set of props for their latest routine…

Andrea and Ona performed a slick set using Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z, dancing underwater to the tune of “Tango” – despite the chilly weather, the routine went without a hitch – as of course, Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z have the highest levels of water resistance of any smartphone and tablet respectively*.

Check out the video above and shots below!

*In compliance with IP55 and IP57, Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z are protected against the ingress of dust and are water resistant. Provided that all ports and covers are firmly closed, the phone / tablet is (i) protected against low pressure jets of water from all practicable directions in compliance with IP 55; and/or (ii) can be kept under 1 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes in compliance with IP 57.

Guys, all I can say is be real careful with Sony products. The company use to make good stuff, but there support capabilities is terrible. I recently had to re-image my Viao and the tech support said to buy more memory…when in fact it was just a simple reset. Cost me $$ and tons of money. Tech support is just clueless on supporting you with these advanced products. :(
