Antennas, Sony World Photography Awards 2014, PlayStation Vita Slim and Xperia Transfer Mobile

Sony Mobile engineer, Thomas Bolin, was recently interviewed by the top tech and IT site Ny Teknik. The reason? Sony has been commended for its superior antenna technology with two models making the top three of a new antenna survey.

From antennas to cameras, here are the shortlisted entries for Sony World Photography Awards 2014, with creative and inspiring photography featuring everything from a hunter and his eagle to skiers forming an amazing tree pattern.

Available to the UK starting today, PlayStation Vita Slim is a slimmer and lighter version of the PlayStation Vita and features an LCD screen, 1 GB internal storage, front and rear cameras, stereo speakers and a microphone to name a few things. Game on!

We’ve always wanted to make it as easy as possible for users to ditch their iPhones in favour of a shiny new Xperia Z1 Compact but the big stumbling block was always the tricky transfer process of all your contacts, music, pictures and apps. Xperia Transfer was our solution to that. This week we announced Xperia Transfer has gone mobile and is available globally from the Google Play store.
