Our engagement

Sony Mobile believes that mobile technology and communications bring new opportunities to people. We are associated with a number of social support projects, events and humanitarian activities around the world.

While we are eager to experiment with how mobile technology can improve people’s lives by engaging in various projects, including the Millennium Villages project, we truly understand that the basic functionality of the mobile phone is what can secure basic communication in disaster situations.

Many of our regional and local offices are also actively involved in supporting the wellbeing of the local communities of which they are a part.
