One of the first comments on the redesigned Product Blog said “Welcome, Mattias! Rikard left you some big shoes to fill”, something I am already experiencing
. I love all the engagement you bring to the blog, asking questions and discussing the products.
With this post I want to quickly tell you that I have collected your questions and my colleague, Sumit Malhotra, global marketing manager for the Xperia X10, will soon get back with answers to them at the moment. So stay tuned.

@ Mark, yea you’re right dual core would be best. lol
I really wish that X10′s camera beat W995 and should be as good as C905 or even better.

I totally agree with you hunk143 (for the Satio) lol but to be more serious, I think what is more important is not the Mpixels but the picture quality and the Satio has a lot to improve.

Dual Core processors will be available in the end of 2010. Manufacturers, including TI and STEricsson, are sending out samples already to device manufacturers.
If you look at the slides in by blog, from SEE2009, guys at Symbian are working really hard to optimize Symbian to take full advantage of multicore processing. Paraleralism is a future, there’s no doubt about that.
Regarding hunk143 vision, I think it’s a bit overexagerated ![]()
especially 4G (LTE) networks… VERy unlikely to become availavle in the nearest future, simply because of lack of such networks. They are still at development. Ericsson is quite close, but not quite there. Rik will tell you a bit more about that, as I know that he knows ![]()
15MP could in theory be possible, but I don’t personally see it to be honest… It’s a sort of strange figure. I think that the race will stop now for a while, jsut until they release 20Mpix mamooth.
Optical zoom is possible, taking an experiece from Sony T-series dedicated camera, however device with such a soom would most probably be not as slim as it could be without… perhaps 3x is too much…
Also, 1024 x 768 resolution is completely pointless. 1024 x 600 would have been much better
However I am not a big fan of high screen resolution. X1, having the highest dpi on the market I think, simply had too high resolution for it’s size! OLED screen would however be a must have ![]()
And Satio is based on a light platform, so it’s successor shoul also be
Most probably Sumbian ^2, which will be great!
I am not a big fan of google… It’s good that SE tries to please every customer though giving everyone an option though

Perfect timing for those
I’ll bet I will need a new phone by the time the dual cores are introduced
