XPERIA X10 Creates Big Buzz in Japan

to be honest as of now I won’t particularly say I’m getting an X10 for the ‘quality and support of sony ericsson..’

Firstly, I’m extremely happy with my X10.

Here’s a couple of suggestions that might be of use (and haven’t already been discussed)

1) Regarding the call volume, it seems obvious to me that at max volume the driver is distorting (running out of excursion?) If there is an ability to equalise the output of the ear speaker, you might recommend that the lower frequencies are cut so the overall volume can be increased where voice is most important.

2) Could you guys PLEASE make an app to control Media Go with the X10? (or any other android phone for that matter)

I really like Media Go, and would love to be able to control it with my X10.

I have a Vaio AW27 and I think I should be able to have the same level of integration that someone with a mac and iphone has

@Mayowa, imo, x10 is only unbeatable with its design – had it not been for its unrivalled looks it would be slaughtered by the competition like a lamb in a lions’ den!

I love my x10 but would like these bugs to be noticed so they can be remedied:

The Call Volume – its not just me lots of people find the call volume very quiet.

The Track Scrubber – Put simply the track scrubber in the music media player is dreadful and barely works. The skip buttons comes second with an odd hit area that sometimes reveals the album listing instead of skipping to the next or previous track.

The keyboard – Not very good and really needs to be re thought. i don’t mind it as i’ve install the HTC version
which rocks (Sorry SE)

The Browser default zoom in – I know this is the stock browser but surely it can be tweaked. Can we not see the whole page first then have the option to zoom in. its a minor niggle but makes sense to me.

That’s it, my life would be complete until 2.1 comes with multiple exchange account support, html emails that look exactly the same as the emails viewed on my desktop computer (Like the iPhone)and that natty single finger zoom option throughout the phone – maps, browser, pictures, email, text viewers.

Heaven.

today i found a big thing. i entered the SIM’ PIN wrongly and the SIM was locked by PUK, so normally i had to enter the PUK code to unlock the SIM. but there is no place to enter the PUK in X10 which is only display “the SIM is locked by PUK, please contact with your service provider.” at the end i used my K850 to unlocked the SIM. i can’t say that is not a big thing.

X10 rocks sold my iPxxxe for it. The design & screen is really cool not to mention the sound full of punch.

i have purchased an xperia x10 from docomo but i am now in singapore and i tried to have it unlocked so i can use my singapore sim card but nobody can do it..i tried sim lim square and several others, but all in vain..is anyone out there who knows where and how to unlock the phone? i wasted a huge amount of money purchasing it in japan and now it’s not even useful..thanks..

dear sir,
i am having problem with my x10i. i submitted my phone in india delhi care on service center. they said for screen change when it came back after 8 days the condition was critical. its was broken from side apart and bottons were totally white. they took it again for repair but still the havent done it and not give it its 15 day today i am very disopinted with service plz help me my email is sanchit8860@gmail.com

i would never ever prefer sony ericsson
