We are very happy and proud today! EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) has announced their annual awards and two of our phones have been selected as winners this year!
Xperia arc was selected as European Camera Phone of the Year 2011-2012, while Xperia mini won the European Green Smartphone 2011-2012.
As an Xperia arc user myself, I’m really pleased that it was selected as the Camera Phone of the Year, because it really does have a great camera and the photos (and video) you can get with arc are fantastic! And the phone just looks so good…
And Xperia mini’s award as European Green Smartphone is just as exciting. Xperia mini is actually part of our Greenheart portfolio, which means that they are produced with non toxic paint, recycled plastics, reduced packaging, and also include an e-manual and a green charger. Actually, we have been committed on reducing toxic materials and chemicals, and also working on recycling our materials and producing more eco-friendly phones for a long time now, so this award makes us really happy.

09:17I have the Xperia mini pro the phone works very well except, for the Bluetooth interface to hands free devices. To connect to the van hands free I have to turn off the phone, and turn it back on again for it to connect with the hands free in the van. The support at Sony Ericsson does not know what to make of it, but otherwise the phone is very well made.

11:41Brilliant stuff! Iam a proud Sony Ericsson arc user myself, and I’m simply amazed at how this phone just stands out among the rest, in terms of functionality, quality, and of course the superb audio visual capabilities of this device is really the icing on the cake. Kudos to Sony Ericsson! =)

I was on my way of buying the arc but then Samsung galaxy S II came out If the arc would had dual core processor I would still go for the arc, but now its SGSII. 14:31I absolutely love my X10 Mini Pro, which I’ve had for about a year now. The only downside to it, is that I have to recharge the battery about twice a day, which makes me wonder if that counteracts the “Greenness” of it…
