When is the 2.3 update released for the Xperia X10? We’re now hearing the update will be released “in the coming weeks.” What does that mean? Can you be more specific, please. We had the impression that the 2.3 update was imminent.

This is starting to feel like the 2.1 update all over again.

Says xperia 2011 (RAY-ARC-PRO-NEO-MINI 2011) these updates are fast,
NEVER says xperia 2010

Dear Sony Ericsson,

I don’t see any reason why these updates are not available for the sony ericsson xperia X10, if you can give me a proper reason for this, i’d really appreciate that

Does this mean the US/Verizon version of the Xperia Play will be receiving the update as well? We still have not gotten the 2.3.3 update that the rest of the world has received.

I’ve used Sony Ericsson phones as much as 7 years, I’ve always liked phones by SE for its style, advancement in hardware and difference from other manufacturers, but now in company something is not right, as example flagship phone Xperia ARC are differ from others manufacturers by outdated hardware, Xperia ARC 2011 year model in one level with 2010 year models by HTC, Lg, samsung etc.
I know that the company is trying to keep their loyal customers, an example of this update of Xperia x10 (thanks for it).
Only by style you can’t keep customers.
I hope the SE will regain its title of best company in the mobile industry, as it was a few years ago, but now I think to buy LG phone.

Will the 2.3.4 update fix the problem of the screen locking up at times (Xperia Mini 2.3.3), where all you can do is remove the battery to reboot it? Your support-team hasn’t answered my question yet, so I thought I’d ask it here.

I would like to make a suggestion, I love the 4 corner UI found on the Xperia mini family. It would be nice to have this on the Xperia ray as well since the screen is small enough to use it one handed. Maybe the 4 corner UI could be an optional download for other Xperia users as well. Thanks

I’m not sure if this is the correct fora or not, but what the heck. No pain, no gain.

I just updated my Xperia X10i from Android 2.1 to 2.3.
I took alot of time googling and trying to find out how to keep my information in the phone. On a SonyEricsson site, I learned that Backup has to be done by app’s available on Market. So I did. I downloaded MyBackup.

DON’T! At least not if you want to keep your text messages.
It DOES restore everything, but you will not be able to erase individual text messages after restoration. The header of the text message you want to erase, will not go away.

This, however, what not the reason I started this message. SonyEricsson gave out an app a while ago, PanoramaPhoto or something similar. It doesn’t work with the latest Android version. Why not?

xperia x10 no update, you want new update buy new xperia.
