In August we announced that a new software version will be available for all 2011 Xperia™ models during October. I’m happy to share the information that the roll out has already started in the Nordic countries for Xperia™ arc, Xperia™ neo , Xperia™ ray and Xperia™ PLAY.
The roll out for the rest of the world is planned to start late October going into early November. The update will be available for all unlocked phones and most operator variants but there will be local deviations. As soon as the roll out starts globally, we will inform you here on the blog. We’ll try to also keep you continuously updated on the kit release. For a complete list of kits released up until now, please check comments below.

I just checked if I could update my Xperia mini via PC Companion ant it found the upgrade to 2.3.4. So it is out for Xperia mini in Denmark.

The SI number for my Xperia Ray is not listed in the ICS update list…the delays and promises are becoming tiresome…perhaps time to try a different make…I hear HTC is good…

And what about the mini and mini pro? Remember you already left the older versions behind, so you don’t want to do the same mistake again. Believe me that there are a lot of customers that like the mini’s you offer, they are popular indeed.
My advise is that since SE took their updates to the next level and since a lot of people are happy with the newly updates is that don’t abandon any customers, make everyone happy, I’m sure you can do this.

I’m trying to use Active Sync to synchronise my Neo with corporate mail. Is not working – the phone reports that the corporate servers are requesting security features that the phone doesn’t support. Will this be fixed in the new upgrade?

the ARC with 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 had no possibility to sync with Outlook Exchange 2010 SP1. sync is failing due to lack of supported security features. Is this problem solved with the 2.3.4 release.

I just want to comment on the upgrade in Mexico, I have a Xperia arc and I can not even update to 2.3.3 android, are already announcing the 2.3.4 and the operator does not release the update, I just like that as a company to pressure operating companies so they can quickly release updates, the commission much please thank you very much beforehand.

@liam burt – the numbers are the product key that can be found on the ID sticker of your phone, normally inside the battery compartment.
