Another busy week here…On Tuesday we launched Live on YouTube – by Xperia™. A camera app exclusive to Xperia Z2 users that allows you to broadcast live for 15 minutes directly to your YouTube channel from your handset.

Broadcast your latest holiday adventures or become a budding vlogger. You can report live in the moment… right now.

From live broadcasts to stunning shots, Olivia Speranza caught up with Daniel Buman, founder of the Mobile Photography Awards in the latest SGNL episode by Sony.

Mobile photography is now recognised as an art form of its own and Daniel has serious hints and tips on how to take breath-taking shots with your smartphone. Top street photographer, Roger Clay, also offers advice for taking killer candid shots. It’s all about light, composition and focus!

This week we also reached back into the past to re-introduce 19th century technology – the curved sensor. Believe it or not, the curved sensor is an imitation of the human eye, and designed to take better pictures in even thinner phones.

We fell to pieces over The LEGO MOVIE and couldn’t resist launching our own Lego themed graphics for Xperia smartphones. Grab images of Emmet and his fellowship and make sure you join them on their quest.

In this week’s movie trailer roundup, James Franco and Seth Rogen team up in the hilarious The Interview, the fan-favourite aquatic birds are back in The Penguins of Madagascar and the phenomenal Idris Elba is back in his thriller comfort zone as he plays a violent criminal in No Good Deed.

Have a great weekend!
