We’ve only gone and done it again! DxOMark, the recognised industry standard for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings, tested XperiaZ5 and declared our phone to have the best photo score amongst all other devices tested. 

In fact, it scored a whopping 87 points and was applauded for its fast autofocus and detail preservation in good and low-light conditions.

That makes it all the better that this week, Xperia Z5 starting shipping to markets worldwide.

Iplaystation caken other news, huge celebrations took place this week as PlayStation® celebrated its 20th European anniversary. Amongst the piles of cake and balloons, PlayStation created a super gaming quiz to test fan’s knowledge, even offering 20 PS4 Anniversary Editions to winners. Runners up could also claim a DUALSHOCK® 4 20th Anniversary controller.

Not wanting to stop there, PlayStation has made an extra special playlist of all the best gaming tracks from the past 20 years. From Chemical Brothers’ Chemical Beats featured in future-racing classic WipeOut, to LittleBigPlanet’s The Orb of Dreamers, there was something for everyone to dance to!

We just wish we could have been there.

Elsewhere, Action Cam took an adventure like never before as it travelled the British Columbia outdoors with backcountry skier and Teton Gravity Research rider, Nick McNutt. Capturing the stunning views, Action Cam took a dive, climbed a tree and even zip wired across a lake.

Finally in case you missed it, a new Sony software update rolled out this week, including Android 5.1 Lollipop for Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua. We’ve been working to build new Sony experiences on Google’s Lollipop release to create some neat / sweet features. It’s great news for selfie lovers, as new smartwear integration means snapping away just got that little bit easier! There’s also a fresh look and feel – based on Google’s material design. Enjoy!
