Our latest PlayStation® news will certainly brighten up your Friday. Peter Byrne is a 22-year-old gamer who has cerebral palsy. The condition means that he suffers from tremors, affecting his ability to play his favourite games. Hearing of this, Alex Nawabi, a PlayStation employee spent 10 hours modifying a DualShock® 4 controller especially for Peter so that his illness wouldn’t have any effect on his gaming hobby. He also promised to make Peter a second controller, based on any feedback on the first prototype. It’s lovely to hear of people going above and beyond. We hope Peter enjoys his new controller!

Ghostbusters_logo.svgIn another great piece of news, it was just announced that rapper Nas had partnered with Sony Pictures Consumer Marketing for a Ghostbusters limited-edition fashion line. The collection, labelled Nas x Ghostbusters, has been designed to coincide with the film studio’s remake of the film ‘Ghostbusters’. Nas, who is creative director for the line, teamed with six brands for the different categories, including his own brand HSTRY for streetwear. Each brand will feature its own collection on its website and the line will also be sold at Ron Herman in Los Angeles and at Parisian luxury story, Colette.

Next up, if you’re a dog lover then you will love our latest project. Back in February at MWC we weren’t just busy announcing our latest Xperia products, we were also exploring the streets of Barcelona with visual artist Rafael Mantesso and six lovely dogs! Rafael Mantesso Dogs BarcelonaRafael was the first person EVER to get his hands on the Xperia X and try out its camera in the wonderful city. He used Xperia X’s all new Predictive Hybrid Autofocus to capture a selection of quirky photos of the pups and then characterised them with his unique illustrative style. You can see the video and all the photos on our blog. We’d love to hear your feedback, so make sure you drop us a comment or get in touch on Twitter.

Finally, staying on the topic of photography we recently worked with the great urban photographer Philip Braude. In case you missed it, Philip Braude is an urban nature photographer and has previously topped the ‘urban’ categories for both National Geographic Traveller Magazine and the British Wildlife Photography Awards. Philip got hands on with Xperia Z5 and the results were great. You can see all of his work here.

That’s all we have time for this week. We hope you have a great weekend.
